The Apothecary Garden opened in 2006 in the historic Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia.

We stock our shelves with herbs and extracts, scrumptious teas, tantalizing natural fragrances, and delicious products for bath and body care. We offer a wide variety of herbal remedies (both bulk herbs and tinctures) as well as essential oils, flower essences, infused oils, tea, teaware, ceremonial supplies, candles, books, and jewelry.

We also carry bulk supplies for the do-it-yourself crafter. We have clays, salts, waxes, and oils as well as beautiful hydrosols all sold in bulk. You can choose from a selection of bottles and jars as well. 

Back when Philadelphia was founded, an apothecary garden, or a medicine garden, would have been fairly common. We have medicinal gardens both in front of and behind the shop. In the spring our gardens are a riot of color and a popular destination for bees and birds. Stop by and spend a little time... its a healing experience!
