Introduction to Herbalism 

 

 

This class is offered three different ways: 

* sign up for a Sunday workshop series 

This class meets once a month from July through October.            
Class dates: July 18, August 15, September 19, and October 17 from 10 am until 4 pm.          
Registration: $420 includes materials, handouts, samples (Earthwise Ways members $380).

* sign-up for Herb Camp!       

Spend the fourth of July weekend exploring the green world.  Class meets 9:30-5:30 on July 4, 5, and 6.  Registration: $395 includes materials, handouts, samples (Earthwise Ways members $365).                         The description for this class is a marriage of the two classes below!

* sign-up for a 2 part series (you can take either or both) which meets two Mondays a month for three months:

Root to Leaf to Flower: an introduction to the energetics of plants, meets the first and third Monday during April, May, and June from 11 am -1:00 pm.

We will meet on the 1st & 3rd Monday, from 11-1 to explore the energetics of the green world.  The plant world has so much to teach us once we know how to listen.  We will journal, draw, and journey to expand our connection to these wonderful green friends.  Please bring an unlined journal and colored pencils to class.

Registration: $210 (Earthwise Ways members $190)

Herbal Home Healthcare: an introduction to medicinal plants, meets the first and third Monday during August, September, and October from 11 am -1:00 pm.

Join us for this wonderful introduction to the world of medicinal plants. This class will focus on basic herbs for family health as well as simple preparations that you will be able to repeat at home.  Hands on activities will include learning to make herbal products and creating an herbal first aid kit. You’ll earn how to identify basic back yard medicinal wild weeds as well as those cultivated in the garden.  This class is a wonderful and empowering introduction into the use of herbs for health, healing and well being.

Registration: $250 includes all materials, handouts, samples (Earthwise Ways members $225)
