* Root to Leaf to Flower: an introduction to the energetics of plants, meets the first and third Monday during April, May, and June from 11 am -1 pm.

We will meet on the 1st & 3rd Monday, from 11-1 to explore the energetics of the green world.  The plant world has so much to teach us once we know how to listen.  We will journal, draw, and journey to expand our connection to these wonderful green friends.  Please bring an unlined journal and colored pencils to the forst day of class.

* The Poem and the Plant: a garden writing workshop,  meets Wednesday night 6-7:30 during the month of July.

Before Maia chose herbalism as her life path, she was a teacher.  Amongst her favorite topics was poetry.  In the late 1990's she created a poetry in the schools program which was taught in an elementry school in Harlem.  Join Maia for a playful romp through the summer garden, using the green world to insprire our writing.
