Anna Beale, Acupuncture
Anna Beale is a graduate of the first class of the first acupuncture school in Pennsylvania, where the training encompassed Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, Korean and Japanese styles, including practice in physical work such as tuina and shiatsu, Nutrition and Meditation. Since graduating she has completed studies for certification as a Community Herbalist. All of these inform her practice, as does her previous work as community and family mediator, and ecologist.
That former work as a mediator and ecologist infuse Anna's knowledge of a foundational acupuncture premise: that we are whole . Acupuncture aims to connect the dots, restoring that wholeness. This can lead to symptomatic ("branch") relief of pain of all sorts, digestive and respiratory disturbances , etc, as well as more foundational ("root" ) restoration of basic harmony and balance. Anna feels fortunate to observe how treatment on any level -mind, body, spirit -tends to affect all others!
